The Battle of the Beans Launches to Crown KZN’s Best Cappuccinos and Espressos

KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) is set to host a new coffee competition, The Battle of the Beans, aimed at identifying the province’s best cappuccinos and espressos. Launched by the Coffee Colab, a group of local coffee enthusiasts, and supported by sugar brand Selati, the competition will showcase the rich coffee culture in KZN and highlight the best coffee spots for aficionados. This event will focus on independent coffee shops and emerging coffee carts, with a panel of judges scoring venues across various regions. The top performers will be honored at an awards ceremony, with the coffee community invited to participate through social media and online voting.
